La Bohème Festival warmly welcomes children aged 8 and up to experience the magic of music, storytelling, and opera — all in an inspiring and age-friendly way.
Sunday Morning – “What Is Opera?”
Led by pianist and storyteller Pavel Timofeyevsky and one of our singers, this playful and engaging session gives young guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of opera.
They’ll learn:
• How opera is made
• What the operatic tradition is all about
• The story of La Bohème
• What to look and listen for during the performance
This interactive morning talk sets the stage for the afternoon’s immersive production of La Bohème, making it easier — and far more magical — for children to enjoy.
Includes:
• “What Is Opera?” morning session
• Non-alcoholic welcome drink during the champagne reception
• Seat at the immersive La Bohème performance
• Children’s snacks and drinks before and after the show
• Farewell soft drink with the artists
