In collaboration with The Original Menu
Summer doesn’t officially begin until someone sings Bizet in a Chelsea garden with a glass of bubbly in hand.
Notable returns to its favourite Chelsea address for the most glamorous evening of the season: a sun-drenched reception, a concert of opera’s most seductive, scandalous and sublime moments, and a festive garden party to send summer in with a proper bang.
We are delighted to introduce two exceptional debutants: British mezzo-soprano Emma Roberts and baritone Tim Alexander - both soon to appear in Notable’s bespoke staging of Carmen in the South of France this October. Alongside them returns one of the company’s most beloved artists, the radiant soprano Natasha Day. Guiding the evening with his signature wit, charm and musical authority is Notable’s artistic director, virtuoso pianist Pavel Timofeyevsky.
The programme roams gloriously across opera’s most irresistible territory; the mischief of Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte, the heartbreak of Verdi’s La Traviata and Rigoletto, the fire of Bizet’s Carmen, the passion of Puccini’s La Bohème and the dazzle of Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Lehár’s The Merry Widow and Bernstein’s West Side Story.
The evening opens in the garden with bubbles and exquisite summer canapés beautifully curated by The Original Menu, before the concert and a late garden after-party to finish in style.
Notable’s summer parties sell out. Don’t be the person who missed it.
